Summer Camp Program

Summer is a wonderful time to continue the "WHOLE CHILD" learning process.  Through the use of exciting activities that stimulate the senses, large and small muscle development and cognitive learning, we are able to use science, math, reading and art to explore nature.  Do you know what makes a sailboat move?  How a magnet works?  With the help of "older campers", we will spend 8 weeks discovering the mysteries in nature and challenging each child to see their world in a different way.

Each week presents a different challenge.  To individualize the success of each challenge, Jr. High and High School students wishing to observe the effects of the educational process in early childhood development are invited in to assist us with our adventures.  These young "teachers-in-training" read stories, make crafts and hold hands with our younger campers as we explore the river down the road or check out the fire department around the corner.  The conversations are priceless and our "campers" love the individual attention.  All children ages 2 1/2 - 6 are welcome to join in the fun.
